The owner of Alligator Plumbing is registered with the Plumbing Industry Registration Board (PIRB).  The PIRB is approved by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) to maintain an oversight of the skills, conduct and practice of plumbers. The South African National Standards (SANS) mandates that certain services be rendered by a PIRB registered plumber and that a Certificate of Compliance (COC) be issued by the Plumber for the work. Amongst these services are the installation of Solar Water Heaters (SANS 10106) and Electric Water Heaters (SANS 10254). All the banks and insurance companies in South Africa may require a COC prior to approving finance or processing claims.
